An Australian retail giant is preparing to roll out international stores.
Leading Australian lifestyle brand Sportscraft will open its first New Zealand store on September 6.
The Apparel Group subsidiary plans to roll out further stores in New Zealand in 2014.
Apparel Group chief executive Daniel Bracken said it will also be the year Sportscraft celebrates its 100 year anniversary.
“We are entering a very exciting period in Sportscraft’s history with the opening of our first shopping destination in New Zealand.
“We look forward to providing our New Zealand customers with Sportscraft’s outstanding quality and consistent fit though a physical store presence, where previously our product has only been available online."
The new Sportscraft store will operate as a concession shop-in-shop model, and will
launch into New Zealand with womenswear and menswear apparel and accessories.
Sportscraft, founded in 1914, is sold in over 200 locations around Australia including freestanding and concession stores through Myer and David Jones.
