Global footwear brand Reebok has signed on AFL star Jack Ginnivan as its first-ever Australian brand ambassador.

Ginnivan joins a long list of brand ambassadors for Reebok, including music icon Karol G, and four European rap artists in the last week, including London’s K Trap, German-Brazilian rapper Lucio101, French rapper Prince Waly, and Milan rap artist Rondodasosa.

Reebok is managed by Brand Collective in Australia under license. The Australian company’s CEO David Thomas said Ginnivan’s unique, high-energy and irreverent edge and spontaneity, both on and off the field, make him a perfect fit for Reebok.

As part of the partnership, Ginnivan has helped launch the Reebok Nano X5 Edge training shoe, along with apparel, in stores nationally. The brand manages 32 spaces across Australia, including four owned retail and 28 Myer spaces.

“Reebok is such an iconic brand,” Ginnivan said. “I grew up watching legends like Shaquille O’Neal wear Reebok, so to now be their first-ever Australian face is pretty unreal and something I’m really proud of.

“Reebok has that performance side but still looks good wherever you wear it, which is right up my alley. I’m super pumped to be joining the Reebok family.”

Ginnivan’s association with Reebok is a multi-year deal, and he will be involved across the brand, including the Nano training franchise, fashion lifestyle ranges such as the iconic Club C, and performance running footwear.

His announcement follows the recent Australian visit of global superstar and Reebok ambassador Angel Reese, who launched her AR1 basketball range.
