Global giant Next and ambassador Rebecca Judd have copped criticism over a joint campaign.

In a promotional video on Instagram, influencer Judd is seen styling transeasonal looks from the brand.

Judd finishes the video by proclaiming "ghetto gold hoops" as a must-have seasonal trend.

Followers were quick to respond to the post.

"'Ghetto gold hoop' is a pretty culturally insensitive way to describe a winter jewellery trend," wrote one user.

"Ghetto gold hoops?," questioned another. "I guess you can use ghetto flippantly if you've never experienced economic underprivilege."

This is not the first collaboration for Next and Judd, with a runway show at Virgin Melbourne Fashion Festival in 2017.
