A sportswear giant has secured a new partner to take its triple-tiered apparel brand stable to the next level.
Running Bare has partnered with e-commerce specialists Solutionists to construct a new e-commerce platform for its three brands – Running Bare, Wahine and Rival Swimwear.
For Running Bare, this next level functionality includes full POS integration, a “three brands one site” solution, and best practice merchandising capabilities.
In addition, the website is also fully integrated with Running Bare’s point-of-sale system dolFIN, facilitating an automated two-way flow of customer, product, stock, pricing, gift voucher and order information.
The integration aims to deliver a “true multi-channel experience”, allowing customers to have a single account across all stores, including the ability to access past orders and redeem gift vouchers, regardless of whether they are shopping in store or online.
Running Bare confirmed the three brand sites will remain completely standalone with unique design, content, URLs and products each.
It will still enable shoppers to “jump from brand to brand” using tabs and fill a single cart with products from all three stores.
All content will also be managed within a single CMS, increasing efficiencies for handling three websites, with an option to also share content and products across all three branded sites if needed, eliminating the need to duplicate data.
Solutionists has developed an interface for Running Bare which allows the company to control how a product’s colour ways display on the category page.
Via the fresh interface, Running Bare can handle its SKUs like separate products, choosing which individual colour ways display and where. The Running Bare sites also contain modules which effectively take Running Bare’s print catalogues online.
'Shop the Look' allows customers to purchase an entire merchandised outfit in a single click, while 'Magalogue' allows users to browse the catalogue, and click on individual items in an image to purchase.
Running Bare was first launched in 1983 in Sydney, Australia, and specialises in women’s sports, active, and leisure wear. Running Bare also operates fashion swimwear label Wahine, and performance swimwear label Rival.
