R.M.Williams relocated its Cairns store in Far North Queensland, refurbishing from the old space.

The store revamp adds to over 65 stores managed by the brand Australia-wide, including one in Mackay, Queensland and another in Rockhampton.

R.M.Williams also manages around four in New Zealand and three in the United Kingdom.

The new Cairns Central store includes dedicated areas for the brand’s range of clothing, accessories and lifestyle products, including a boot wall at the rear of the store, as well as complementary offerings such as care products and matching belts.

In line with the brand’s recent spate of new store openings and refurbishments, local craftsmanship is present throughout the space. The boot wall is lined with bricks by Krause, a family-run brickmaking business from Victoria.

R.M.Williams has also included wardrobe-style fixtures, which allows customers to build their own collection in a tactile and relatable way according to the brand.

To mark the opening in late August, R.M.Williams gave customers the chance to win a pair of boots.

The new store will replace the brand’s previous Cairns Central location, which will close in tandem with the opening of the new space.

The store is located on the ground floor, surrounded by other key retailers including Sunglass Hut, City Beach, Sportscraft and Ghanda Clothing.
