R.M. Williams has opened a new Sydney store in Bondi Junction Westfield, shifting from a previous store which will close in tandem with the new opening.

The new space includes dedicated areas for the brand’s growing range of clothing, accessories and lifestyle goods, including a pinnacle boot wall at the rear of the store. According to R.M. Williams, this region of the store has been designed as an introduction to the brand’s signature leather boots, care products and matching belts.

In line with the brand’s recent spate of new store openings and refurbishments, local inclusions are featured throughout the space. The boot wall is lined with bricks by Krause, a family-run brickmaking business from Victoria. The space also includes wardrobe-style fixtures, as well as bespoke furniture by Melbourne-based maker Made by Morgen.

The space also includes original artwork entitled ‘Sheepyard Flat’ by Victorian artist André de Vanny, as part of an ongoing partnership between R.M. Williams and art collective Curatorial+Co.

R.M. Williams hosted an exclusive in-store event on May to launch the store. It included Bondi-inspired refreshments, alongside a live art experience by local artist Matt Cauchi, who created a new R.M. Williams piece in store.

Customers who spend $250 or more in the first week of opening will go into the draw to win Matt’s finished artwork.

The celebrations will continue over the opening weekend with refreshments available in store.
