Fashion retailer Queenspark has forged ahead with a new venture, despite the dire fate of its parent company and sister brand Events, which collapsed into administration earlier this year.
The brand, which escaped unscathed after Universal Retail Brands was placed into voluntary administration in March 2013, has confirmed it will launch a new line next month in collaboration with film star Elizabeth Hurley.
Designed for all occasions, has chosen Hurley as the new face for the Queenspark range, which will feature a collection of gowns and cocktail dresses, knits and elegant day wear.
The iconic Australian brand has also collaborated directly with Elizabeth Hurley on a beachwear collection featuring an array of sophisticated and fun range of swimwear, kaftans and sarongs, designed in bright colours and exotic prints.
The Elizabeth Hurley for Queenspark range is now available nationally in-store and online, with the exclusively distributed Elizabeth Hurley Beach Collection to be released in-store from October 2013.
Inspired by Elizabeth Hurley’s English sophistication and heritage, the brand has invested in the new campaign and shot the fresh collection images at one of the world’s finest five-star luxury hotel, the Cliveden House, located in the Berkshire Countryside in England.
Commenting on the tie-up, Queenspark director Andrew Shub said the collaboration was a perfect for for the brand and its new direction.
“We are excited to have Elizabeth Hurley has the face of the brand. We feel that Elizabeth’s iconic style and sophistication encapsulates the Queenspark brand ethos and seasons collection,” he said.
