Premier Investments, owner of Just Group, has appointed a new director to manage several of its core fashion brands.
The group today announced that Colette Garnsey, will take on the role as core brand director, Premier Retail (Just Group), from late September this year.
Garnsey will switch over to Premier Retail from her position at Pacific Brands, where she is currently group general manager for underwear and hosiery. As part of this role, she is responsible for brands such as Bonds, Berlei, Rio, Jockey, Holeproof, Voodoo and Razzamatazz.
In her new role at Premier Retail, Garnsey will report to Premier Retail CEO Mark McInnes and will be directly responsible for labels Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans and Jacquie E.
She will also have full accountability for international and local sourcing functions.
The company described Garnsey as “a world class executive with over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of performance in listed companies”.
Commenting on the new appointment, McInnes said he expects Garnsey to be an asset to the group.
“We are thrilled to attract someone of Colette’s skills, leadership and apparel experience to lead our teams and further strengthen our ability to proactively manage our portfolio of brands,” he said.
Premier Investments chairman Solomon Lew added:
