Premier Investments deputy chairman Frank Jones is set to retire from the board next month.
Jones had a significant impact on the Solomon Lew-owned business, playing an intergral role in the $810 million acquisition of Just Group.
He was also instrumental in the sale of Premier's substantial shareholding in Coles Group.
More recently, he was involved in the company's Audit and Risk Committee.
Jones will leave the company effective from July 25, 2015.
He served as chairman from 1999 to 2002, 2007 and 2008.
Jones will be replaced by former Tasmanian treasurer and current non-executive director of Premier Dr David Crean.
