Politix is partnering with Movember for its fifth year, as it pledges to raise $120,000 for the global men’s health charity.

The menswear retailer has raised over $500,000 for Movember since partnering with the organisation in 2018.

Politix will introduce new fundraising initiatives this year, including launching a round-up donation mechanism. Customers can choose to donate at point of purchase, both in store and online, by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar or adding on one dollar.

Online customers will be provided the option to contribute $1, $2 or $5 donations.

Politix has also pledged to donate $10 from the sale of every blazer and formal jacket to Movember throughout November.

“It’s exciting for us as a brand to provide new and ongoing avenues for customers to donate year-round,” Politix head of marketing Megan Voss said. “Through these initiatives, we’re committed to supporting men’s health and highlighting these important conversations.”

As part of the fundraising, Politix has also launched a campaign featuring Sydney-based artist and designer Nathan Johnson, who will use his typography experience to share men’s health messaging.

“As an artist who works a lot with words and typography, using positive and affirming words I see as such an important aspect of our health and well-being” Johnson said.

“It means a lot to me to be involved in a campaign helping raise awareness around mental health, and the impact it has on so many.”
