Suiting brand Politix has opened a brand-new store at Collins Arcade, marking a return to the Melbourne CBD.
Following the brand’s recent rebrand, Politix has partnered with Hecker Guthrie to design the new store.
The space includes black trims and textural finishes of leather and timber which anchor the fit-out.
According to Politix, a standout feature of the new space is its minimalistic service counter. This is a speckled granite in Balmoral green set against a textured neutral backdrop and illuminated brandmark.
Politix will also introduce its custom scent, which includes notes of bergamot, citrus, vetiver and tonka, to the store.
“Our new Melbourne CBD store marks an exciting chapter for Politix,” the brand’s general manager, Ian Worthy, said.
“As we continue to elevate our product and digital experience, expanding our footprint into the heart of Melbourne allows us to deliver an elevated, design-led retail environment that truly reflects who we are today.”
The new store will officially open on Thursday, November 20 this week. To mark the opening, Politix customers visiting during the opening week will also have the chance to win a tailored wardrobe valued at $1,000.
Politix’s entry to Collins Arcade follows a $50 million revamp of the precinct, which includes a a few flagship store openings including Swatch, Birkenstock and Tag Heuer. Other fashion store openings at the centre include Kathmandu, 2XU, MJ Bale, Tommy Hilfiger, Saba, Mimco and Trenery.
