Plus-size menswear brand Johnny Bigg is busting out.
The retail chain has commenced a rollout of stores, with a minimum of 25 openings planned before June, 2017.
Johnny Bigg is a subsidiary of Retail Apparel Group, owner of yd, Tarocash and Connor.
Johnny Bigg GM Julian Hayman said the brand has made a successful mark on the retail scene.
"Our rapid expansion is testament to that.
"There’s a clear consumer need for the brand in the market.
"We have a major expansion plan in place and over the next few months we will be opening three stores in NSW, a new store in SA, two new stores in QLD and there are plans for further stores in VIC.
"We will have a minimum of 25 stores open by June 2017."
Johnny Bigg offers specialised sizing from a size XL upwards to 8XL, waist sizes from 36”-54” and suits from 42”-58”.
Shoe sizes start at 9 UK/AUS and exit at 15 UK/AUS.
The brand also caters for taller men
Tall guys are also catered for at Johnny with tops LT-4XLT, suits 42”L-48”L and bottoms 36”L-48”L.
The autumn/winter 2016 collection features a monochromatic palette with additional tones of tan, khaki, burgundy and blue.
Long sleeve shirts, knits, wool blend blazers, trench coats and casual bombers offer a range of options for layering, with a focus on stretch fabrics.
The range also features urban injections with hightop sneakers, leather boots, as well as new knitted joggers.
Classic suiting in navy, black and shades of grey are also on offer for formal and corporate wear.
