L'Idée Woman has appointed Pip Edwards as creative director of its upcoming Australian Fashion Week runway presentation, formalising an existing relationship between Edwards and the brand.
Edwards, who has worked with L'Idée Woman in both a personal and professional capacity, will now oversee the conception and direction of the show. The appointment also signals her continued diversification beyond P.E Nation, across fashion, design and cultural spaces.
It also comes after she exited her creative lead role at Ksubi earlier this year after just over ayear in the role.
"L'Idée Woman is a brand I've long admired and consistently worn, both personally and professionally," Edwards said. "I'm incredibly excited to formalise this connection and collaborate on bringing the vision and spirit of L'Idée Woman to life for such a significant moment in the brand's evolution."
The presentation marks the brand's return to Australian Fashion Week four years after its debut. Rather than a conventional seasonal showcase, the show has been conceived as a distilled expression of the brand’s core identity, with 30 looks spanning its most recognisable design signatures alongside pieces from the Fall/Winter '26 collection.
Central to L'Idée Woman's aesthetic is its use of pleating as both a structural and artistic device. The runway will feature custom-engineered pleat structures developed in collaboration with one of the world's oldest pleating houses, a partnership the brand describes as central to its evolution.
Australian Fashion Week runs in Sydney in May.
