Australian accessories label Peta + Jain has revealed the power of introducing eco-friendly materials to collections.
The brand, which is already PETA-approved vegan, has launched its Eco Edit as part of its new range.
The Eco Edit's specially designed bags' outer material is produced with certified sustainable and recycled materials including recycled vegan leather and recycled nylon.
And the collection is driving sales, with the brand witnessing a 42% lift in sales in the month following the Eco Edit launch, with the eco-friendly products accounting for 30% of all bag purchases.
Peta + Jain co-founders Jane Da Silva and Peta Wessell welcomed the launch of the eco-friendly collection.
"We are so excited about our Eco Edit which is a range of specially designed bags made by recycled materials.
"The colours and textures are fantastic; they remind us of a candy store.
"We will be expanding the Eco Edit range further in coming collections and envisage that shortly our entire range will be from recycled materials.
"We are proud to say that not only is Peta + Jain cruelty free but we will be constantly striving to improve our sustainability and impact on the environment," the founders said.
Peta + Jain's Edo Edit features 19 styles and is priced between $19.95 and $79.95.
