Organisations are already underway for the first inaugural Perth Fashion Week, which has just been announced as an event partner for this year's Fashion Incubators Conference.
The event is expected to attract buyers, models, media and fashion savvy shoppers alike, providing attendees with the opportunity to network and engage with fashion.
Perth Fashion Week will be run over five days and include on site collection shows and collection showrooms showcasing the work of both recognised and up-and-coming designers.
Perth Fashion Week's event Director, former model and designer Sylvia Giacci has just announced that the event will be teaming up with the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA for their Third International Conference of Fashion Incubators, to be held at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth from September 11 – 13. Giacci said of the partnership:
"We are proud to partner and work with the Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre of WA on their International event."
The Fashion Incubators conference is aimed offering new opportunities for fashion business educators and fashion trade events from around the globe, providing a forum to discuss best practice and expand global designer marketing and promotional opportunities. The conference itinerary will include presentations by industry speakers as well as a range of practitioners and experts.
Giacci said Perth Fashion Week's partnership with the upcoming conference was an effective way to increase awareness about Perth Fashion Week through alignment: "Both organisations support those in the fashion trade business, and the alignment of our events and audience is great."
Registrations are now open for designers and fashion labels who wish to take part in Perth Fashion Week and can be made through the event website: www.perthfashionweek.com.au.
