Pacific Brands has sold off $39 million worth of fashion and footwear labels. Here is the cull list.
Footwear brands Volley, Hush Puppies and Clarks have been purchased by private equity firm Anchorage Capital Partners.
Dunlop and Slazenger have been sold to IBML, a UK-based company that owns the brands outside of Australia and New Zealand.
PAS Group has purchased Pacific Brands’ sports assets, including Everlast equipment, and will license the Dunlop, Slazenger and Everlast brands from IBML.
All brands fall under the company's Brand Collective division, which recorded a loss of $22.3 million in 2013/14.
Pacific Brands reported the current value of the brands as $66 million, and said it will incur a $30 million loss on the sale.
Pacific Brands recently sold off its workwear brands to Wesfarmers' industrial and safety division for $180 million this year.
The sales are a part of a strategy to increase its focus on leading brands, Bonds and Sheridan.
