Natalie Marie Jewellery has opened an atelier along William Street in Paddington, expanding its retail reach from its founding suburb of Avalon Beach.
The new 120 square metre store includes an on-site jewellery studio and a private consultation room.
Paddington is the brand’s second retail location, following its flagship store in Avalon that is now in its seventh year of operation. The brand services clients globally via its online store, as well as via a tailored bespoke service, which translates globally through online consultations.
Natalie Marie Jewellery is now an entirely direct to consumer business, after departing from wholesale channels in 2020.
Co-founder and designer Natalie Fitch added the new location has an expansive showroom space downstairs, which carries the label’s core offerings across engagement, ceremonial and ready-to-wear categories. Price points range between four and five figures.
“The space also features a rotating curation of supporting artwork, such as the current installation by contemporary Australian artist Ash Holmes,” Fitch said.
“The rotation of artwork is intended to reflect relevant featured jewellery collections, reflecting the tones, gestures and forms within the pieces.
Fitch said the goal of the space is to create an unhurried experience, with the store offering champagne and coffee for clients.
The on-site jewellery studio sits in an upstairs space, extending on its primary manufacturing location at its Avalon Beach flagship. Skilled jewellers in the studio can offer on-the-spot personalisation on select pieces.
“Upstairs also houses an intimate private consultation space, where we invite clients to experience our fully tailored bespoke experience,” Fitch said. “Sitting one on one with a bespoke designer, clients are able to bring their unique vision to life in a discreet and intimate setting.
“Often favoured by engagement clients, our unique bespoke service offers the opportunity to create something truly one of a kind, with the designer working to source the perfect stone, and design a piece which truly embodies the love story it will go on to represent.”
