Australian fashion platform The Iconic has partnered with Nike to present a new marketing campaign called Outrun Your Delivery.

Taking place on June 7 and June 14, the campaign will invite Sydneysiders to race The Iconic’s 3-hour delivery van to the finish line.

The location of the race will be shared via the platform’s Instagram and TikTok accounts three hours before the van’s arrival.

To take part, runners must wishlist Nike gear on The Iconic’s app and complete a tracked 5km run to the mystery location before the van arrives.

The first 50 runners to reach the finish line will be rewarded with Nike kicks, handed over on the spot from a stocked delivery van. Participants must log at least 5 kilometres before reaching the finish line tracked via any fitness app

Those who miss out on the giveaway will still be in with a chance to unlock exclusive Nike gear.

“Outrun Your Delivery is a fun and bold way to bring The Iconic’s ultra-fast delivery promise - and the spirit of Nike - to life,” CMO Joanna Robinson said. “It’s more than a race, it’s a celebration of speed, style, and the energy of our community.”

Speaking on the partnership with Nike, The Iconic’s GM of marketing partnerships and lifestyle categories Joshua Nunan said the global sneaker brand chose The Iconic, citing the platform’s large and highly engaged female audience.

“Nike and The Iconic share a customer who values style, performance, and authentic connection, making this collaboration a natural fit,” Nunan said. “We worked tirelessly to create an activation that places both brands at the centre and resonates with our audience.

“The result is an experience designed to excite, empower, and engage our shared community, with a particular focus on inspiring female customers.”

Nunan added that 2025 is arguably the biggest in Sydney’s running history, with just nine weeks until City2Surf and 12 weeks until the Sydney Marathon.

“Our data shows that more customers than ever are preparing to run their first event, making this a pivotal moment to position Nike as a premier choice in the lead-up to these iconic races,” Nunan said. “Sydney’s running culture is incredibly vibrant, and one of our strategic objectives for sport at The Iconic is to execute impactful community events that foster genuine connection.

“By creating a community-led event, we’re bringing people together in a fun and engaging way that leaves a lasting impression well beyond the product itself.”
