Next Australia has taken a step to promote more inclusive sizing, introducing half sizing for its women's denim jeans range.
As the country heads into winter, the eTailer wanted to ensure every woman could find their perfect denim cut, with its new range available in sizes 6 to 22.
The new jeans range forms part of Next's new denim collection which also includes dresses, shackets, shirts and shoes.
"Denim has been a timeless wardrobe staple for so long because it’s durable, comfortable, goes with almost everything, and can be worn from day to night," Next Australia spokesperson Chantelle Binley said.
"In recent months, we’ve witnessed a resurgence of the double denim trend with men, women and kids all layering different denim styles and tones to create chic fashion statements," she said.
However, it's not only the denim sizing that the business has improved on in its new collection.
The eTailer has also worked to make the range more sustainable, sourcing 39% of cotton (by weight) as Better Cotton through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
"We’ve listened to our customers and are striving towards creating sustainable denim across our entire range," Binley added.
To celebrate the new range, Next has launched its #NextLevelDenim campaign, which invites Aussies to partake in denim-related fashion challenges.
The Next Australia denim range is available online now for men, women and kids and retails from $15.
