Adelaide-based shopping complex Harbour Town Premium Outlets has reported a surge in sales among its key tenants over the last twelve months.

Centre manager Kylie Crossing confirmed the news, saying New Balance’s outlet store was crowned the brand’s top-performing outlet store Australia-wide for 2025, while low-price retailer Glassons made a record-breaking outlet store sales debut during the same year.

“Over the last 12 months, Calvin Klein, Coach, Rodd & Gunn, Rip Curl, Cotton On, Portmans and Helly Hansen, also delivered outstanding results during major sale events such as Get Outlet, ranking among Australia’s best performing outlet stores,” Crossing said.

“Visitation rose four per cent over the last 12 months, driven by our tailored premium retail mix, and the Harbour Town Eats precinct.”

The centre recorded a six per cent rise in sales on a moving annual total (MAT) basis.

Amid the surge in sales, Australian fashion brand Ghanda is opening its first outlet store in the state of South Australia at the Harbour Town centre.

Ghanda retail operations manager Zoey Glover said as the brand continues to grow, having an outlet model has become a practical and responsible way to manage product.

“It lets us offer great value to our broad customer base, which includes women, men, teenagers and kids, while extending the life of our surf and streetwear pieces,” Zoey said.

“Harbour Town is known for offering quality brands at great value, and that aligns perfectly with what we want our outlet experience to be, while also creating 10 additional local jobs.

“An outlet store gives people another way to shop their favourite brand, especially when everyone’s more conscious about spending.”

Over the last 12 months, Harbour Town Premium Outlets Adelaide has also welcomed 10 new stores, including ASICS, Australia’s largest Glassons store, Michael Kors, Sheike, 2XU, Swarovski and Rodd & Gunn.

Crossing said South Australians are discovering how the modern premium outlet model, based on quality and in-season items, can provide significant savings of up to 70 per cent every day.

“These are commonly the same items often stocked elsewhere but listed at full price,” Kylie said.

Harbour Town attracts 3.4 million shoppers each year, with a notably higher proportion of interstate and international visitors compared to other shopping centres in South Australia. This is likely due to the centre’s close proximity to Adelaide Airport.

The centre has more than 110 stores. It is a core asset of Australia’s oldest and leading private property developer, Lewis Land, and supports more than 1,500 local jobs.

Other key tenants include Kate Spade, Oroton, Peter Alexander, R.M.Williams, Seed and Lorna Jane.
