Australian Fashion Week has launched its annual emerging designer program, with executives from Net-A-Porter, David Jones and Vogue joining the judging panel.
Established in 1996, Next Gen prize winners have included brands Akira, Bec + Bridge, Camilla & Marc, Sass & Bide and Anna Quan. Applications for the 2024 program are open until November 19.
The prize is valued at over $100,000 and will grant four winning designers with business opportunities at Australian Fashion Week in 2024. This includes a dedicated runway show, brand campaign, marketing, shipping credits and content package.
Australian Fashion Week organiser IMG has assembled a panel of local and global judges to determine the winners including GQ global editorial director Adam Baidawi, David Jones GM of womenswear Bridget Veals, Vogue Runway global contributor Luke Leitch and Net-A-Porter market director Libby Page.
