Online shopping powerhouse Net-A-Porter will be the official style partner of Sydney Contemporary 2013, marking its second domestic arts sponsorship this year.

Sydney Contemporary will launch at Carriageworks (Eveleigh) from September 20 to 22, showcasing work from leading Australian and international galleries.

Earlier this year, Net-A-Porter also signed on as digital sponsor for the National Institute of Dramatic Arts' Foundation Trust Gala.

As part of its latest sponsorship, Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter will have curated custom edits of art-inspired pieces on their sites.

The global head of personal shopping Lupe Puerta will also host special one-on-one sessions with Sydney Contemporary's VIP guests.

This will include highlighting key trends, providing style advice and guiding clients through an edited selection of looks.

Net-A-Porter will also dress actress and Sydney Contemporary ambassador Rachel Griffiths for official engagements.

Net-A-Porter sales and marketing director Lisa Bridgett said the event is "where our customer is".

"The contemporary art fair scene always attracts discerning, fashion-loving women and we are delighted to extend our service to meet their every wardrobe need so they can attend the fair in effortless style."

Mr Porter sales and marketing director Mario Muttenthaler hinted this could see further parnterships down the track.

"Australia continues to be one of our largest markets and we are always looking at ways in which we can partner with local businesses and initiatives to further speak to our customers in this territory."

Net-A-Porter now offers permanent free shipping to Australia on all fashion and beauty orders over $500.
