Neiman Marcus is the latest international retailer to hunt for greater local market share, appointing an agency to drive online expansion into Australia.

Torstar Communications has been appointed to manage media communications, digital and advertising strategy for the luxury American retailer.

Since opening the doors of its first store in Dallas, Texas in 1907, Neiman Marcus has expanded to 41 retail stores across the United States.

Neiman Marcus Group LTD Inc, which also owns Bergdorf Goodman in New York, counts Australia among its top international markets for sales.
