Think online pre-orders are for designer brands only? Mainstream retailers are getting in on the action.
Lifestyle brand Nautica has launched a digital lookbook allowing consumers to pre-order its autumn/winter 14 collection before it hits stores.
The brand operates a flagship store in Melbourne, as well as stocking department stores Myer, David Jones and independent retailers.
By clicking on featured looks from the new seasion collection, shoppers can pre-order entire looks or individual pieces.
A customer service representative then contacts shoppers to arrange and deliver their purchase.
The digital pre-order lookbook includes pieces priced from $59.95 for a 3/4 sleeve anchor tee and flat front cotton twill shorts to $449 for the men's peacoat.
Nautica offers free shipping on all returns.
