New Zealand-born brand Nature Baby is adding two new stores to its Sydney retail portfolio.
The babywear brand will open a flagship store in Balmain and a neighbourhood boutique in Mosman. This adds to the brand’s first-ever Australian store in Paddington. All stores are situated on high street locations, with Balmain along the main strip of Darling Street, Mosman along Military Road, and its Paddington store along Oxford Street.
This adds to three other stores in New Zealand, alongside a handful of boutique stockists in both countries.
“Over the past five years, Nature Baby has steadily grown its presence in Australia, thoughtfully, quietly, and with care,” founder and CEO Jacob Faull said. “This steady momentum has given the brand confidence to enter its next chapter through expanding our physical store footprint while staying deeply anchored to our founding values.”
The flagship Balmain store deviates from the traditional retail space, offering a community kitchen with tea and water, dedicated feeding and changing areas and an expansive outdoor garden.
Nature Baby sells a range of babywear items across sleep, daywear and nursery, alongside a range of accessories such as bedding and towels. Prices for baby bodysuits range in the mid double-digits.
Both new stores also utilise natural, recycled and recyclable materials, sustainably sourced timbers and non-toxic finishes.
“As Nature Baby continues to expand across Australia, the ambition is not just scale, but depth,” Faull added. “Deeper relationships with families, deeper accountability to values, and deeper care for the communities and environments it is part of.”
The Balmain store opened last weekend, featuring a festival-style market day, alongside a day of planting trees in the garden. The Mosman store will open tomorrow, March 20.
