Myer is set to recommence click and collect services in 22 stores nationally.
The department store has announced the move ahead of Mother’s Day, when it anticipates increased orders will place further strain on Australia’s delivery infastructure.
Myer will provide pop-up booths at entries to these 22 stores.
They will operate from 10am to 5pm daily, seven days a week up until Mother’s Day.
Customers can check our store locator for their nearest service online, as well as be advised of the closest store when selecting the service upon checkout.
Myer chief customer officer Geoff Ikin said customer service is integral at this time.
“With Mother’s Day approaching we wanted to get ahead of the anticipated serge of online orders and offer customers greater choice and convenience.
“To ensure customers can collect their items in safest possible way, we’ll have pop-up booths at store entrances, with enhanced hygiene and distancing measures in place.
“Having recently announced the reinstatement of more than 2,000 team members, this decision will enable us to bring even more of our valued team members back to work.
“Customer service and satisfaction is paramount to us.“
