The Victoria Racing Club (VRC) and Myer have announced the face of the 2015 Myer Fashions on the Field ambassador.
26-year-old equestrian eventer Georgia Connolly will front this year's event, joining the judging panel that will select winning looks on three days of the Women's Racewear competition, including the 2015 National Final on Crown Oaks Day.
Connolly said she is thrilled to be appointed as this year's ambassador, having first entered the event at the age of 10.
“As a Melbourne girl I love putting together spring racewear looks and being trackside at Flemington.
“My favourite Australian designers include Alex Perry, Aje and for special occasions you can’t go past Maticevski.
"For millinery I love Melissa Jackson and Kim Fletcher.”
VRC chief executive also believes Connolly is the perfect fit for the role.
“We are delighted to announce Georgia as this year’s Ambassador.
“Georgia’s love of racing, horses and fashion ensures she will be perfectly placed to represent Myer Fashions on the Field, Australia’s largest and most prestigious outdoor fashion event.”
Connolly's will make her first official appearance on September 10 for the annual Myer Spring Fashion Lunch.
