The man who put Myer in the headlines for all the wrong reasons looks set to have his day in court.
Andrew Flanagan has been charged by Victorian police with fraud.
Flanagan was appointed as managing director of strategy and business development at Myer last month.
Flannagan was sacked shortly after as it was revealed he had lied about his credentials.
Flanagan claimed to have formerly worked as MD and VP Asia Pacific of Inditex, owner of Zara.
Inditex denied all knowledge of Flanagan soon after his appointment.
