Another wave of stores have been shuttered in the latest receivership to rock the retail sector.

A further 22 Sam's Warehouse and Crazy Clark's stores have been closed in NSW, Queensland and Victoria.

This brings the total of stores closed since the receivership began in July to 109.

More than 1400 employees are affected so far.

Most of the latest closures will occur on August 10, with some closures already underway.

Staff entitlements total $10 million.

It is understood receivers are looking to sell shops and stock fittings to interested buyers, with a buyer for a large part of the group extremely unlikely.

The DSG group of companies are currently managed by KordaMentha Restructuring, Receivers and Managers.

The Group had 143 employees and 143 stores before plunging into receivership.
