Australian-born brand Modibodi has launched a new initiative aimed at driving the accessibility of period products.

The new Modibodi Period Collective is an Australia-wide project between Stars Foundation, Thread Together, Women’s Health Tasmania and Modibodi.

The collective will provide reusable period underwear to people who lack access to period products.

To drive funding for the Period Collective, Modibodi has partnered with i=Change to allow other brands and retailers to add a portal link to their online store for customers to donate when completing their purchase.

Modibodi will host the Modibodi Period Collective on their Australian website at modibodi.com.

“We have created the Modibodi Period Collective as a model for greater social impact collaboration,” Modibodi executive director Kerry Cusack said.

“By working together with charity partners, and brands through i=Change, we are excited to be able to increase the amount of funds raised and reusable bundles donated, so that we can ensure more people have access to the period care they need.

“We would love to encourage other retailers to join us and utilise i=Change, offering the Modibodi Period Collective as a donation option, helping us collectively end period inequality in Australia.”
