Mimco has opened a refurbished boutique at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach, Queensland, with the store trading again from Thursday, June 25.

The fitout features artwork by Marnie McKnight, wall sconce lighting and pendant lights sourced from Angelucci 20th Century in Fitzroy, and a feature chair from Bazaa.

The boutique will target a Green Star Fitouts rating, with the fitout incorporating energy-efficient lighting, appliances and equipment, low VOC finishes and materials, acoustic and lighting comfort, and the diversion of demolition and construction waste from landfill.

Mimco general manager Jennie Moon said the store reflects the brand's approach to how it designs, builds and operates its spaces.

"We're so excited to unveil our new-look boutique at Pacific Fair," she said. "This store truly reflects Mimco's commitment to continuously improving how we design, build, and operate our spaces, something we're incredibly proud of."

Mimco ended 2025 with nearly 100 retail spaces, which included both owned retail, pop-ups and concessions. The brand is housed under Country Road Group, with that group housed under Woolworths Holdings Limited in South Africa.

In its trading update for the half-year ending December 28, 2025, WHL confirmed that Country Road Group saw a 2.3 per cent lift in total sales, which proved softer in the last seven weeks of the period.

The bump up in sales came as an ongoing discounting war across the market impacted the group's gross margin.
