New Zealand-born jeweller Michael Hill has just opened the doors to its first New South Wales flagship store, located in Bondi Junction.
The new flagship marks a new milestone in Michael Hill’s retail revamp, which brings its ‘Store of the Future’ concept to Sydney for the very first time. The new store includes dedicated spaces for the brand’s signature collections, such as its Pendant Bar, a newly launched Earrings Charms space and a Wedding Band Concierge.
Michael Hill group manages around 160 stores across Australia, which includes around 37 Bevilles stores. Michael Hill also owns and manages Medley and its high-end offering TenSevenSeven.
The new Sydney flagship for Michael Hill adds to two other flagships in Melbourne, including at Chadstone and in Bourke Street Mall.
Michael Hill’s recently appointed CEO Jonathan Waecker said Bondi is one of Australia’s most iconic retail and lifestyle destinations.
“This flagship marks a major milestone in our brand’s growth after successful flagship openings across Australia, New Zealand and Canada,” Waecker said. “We’re excited to bring our most popular, signature collections to Bondi, making it easier for customers to celebrate life’s moments with Michael Hill."
Michael Hill’s chief marketing officer, Jo Feeney, added that the new flagship combines natural textures, refined finishes and intricate detailing.
“From thoughtful lighting to bespoke consultation areas, every design element has been curated to create a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming, a true reflection of our focus on attainable luxury,” Feeney said.
“The store also brings to life our hero experiences, including the dedicated Pendant Bar, Earring Charms, and Wedding Band Concierge, designed to help customers discover and personalise pieces that celebrate life’s special moments.”
The new store will host a grand opening tomorrow, November 8, with the first 100 visitors in-store being offered an exclusive free pendant, with additional offers including a Kora Organics gift with purchase for Brilliance Members and free gelato served from 11am to 3pm on both November 8 and 9.
