New Zealand-born jeweller Michael Hill is expanding its men’s jewellery collection with 26 new designs added. This comes as men’s jewellery continues to shift from occasion wear to everyday essentials.

The range of new pieces builds on Michael Hill's current core collection, including chains and wrist. The new range moves beyond traditional watches and wedding bands to include chains, bracelets, pendants, rings, semi-precious gems and pearls.

Michael Hill chief product officer Toni Zehrer said the new pieces speak to a significant shift in how men are approaching jewellery.

"We've seen celebrities, musicians and sports stars confidently wearing jewellery in their everyday style, and that's really helped normalise it for a broader consumer,” Zehrer said. “We're now seeing that translate into everyday men wanting to express themselves in the same way.

"Every piece has been designed with that in mind. Whether it's a statement ring, a layered bracelet or a timeless pendant, the range is made to be versatile and easy to wear, something you can just put on and feel good in. It fits naturally into a modern wardrobe, while still feeling confident and distinctly masculine."

All pieces are crafted from materials such as sterling silver, gold, freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstones. Designed to be worn individually or layered, the range spans contemporary leather and sterling silver bracelets, engravable hardware pieces, minimalist pendant necklaces, rings featuring semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearl designs and timepieces.

Prices for the new range start from $149, and will be sold both online and across stores.
