Jewellery group Michael Hill International Limited has hired Elodie Guillaumond as its new chief financial officer, commencing February 2, 2026.

Guillaumond will take over the financial post from Andrew Lowe, who has held the chief financial and supply chain officer role since 2017. In recent months, Lowe was also interim CEO following the untimely loss of Daniel Bracken earlier this year, with that role since taken over by Jonathan Waecker. Lowe announced his resignation from Michael Hill earlier this year.

Guillaumond takes on the role following a 20-year career across listed and private sector organisations in Australia and internationally. She will move into Michael Hill following a CFO retail role at Ampol Australia. She held similar roles at Amart Furniture, Blackwoods, Coles Supermarkets and British American Tobacco.

At the tobacco company, she led a major transformation through the centralisation of the cross-Tasman finance functions in Australia and transitioning selected back-office operations to a shared services centre.

At Ampol, she played a key role in delivering the ‘Convenience Retail’ strategy, driving margin growth and enhancing customer experience.

During her tenure at Coles, she helped shape the financial strategy underpinning the Flybuys’ loyalty programs.

“Elodie’s ability to deliver disciplined financial management, unlock operational efficiencies, and support sustainable margin expansion will be invaluable as we focus on building a stronger, more profitable business,” Waecker said. “Elodie’s commercial acumen and collaborative approach are a strong fit for our culture and ambitions.”

Chair of the board, Rob Fyfe, welcomed Guillaumond to Michael Hill.

“Her commercial judgement, governance depth, and enterprise mindset align with our priorities, including careful capital allocation, disciplined execution, and sustained returns.” Fyfe said. “Elodie will be a key partner to Jonathan and the leadership team.”

Alongside its namesake retail brand, Michael Hill also manages Bevilles, Medley and TenSevenSeven.
