Ragtrader can exclusively reveal the official dates for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA) 2012.
The spring/summer 2012 collections will be presented at the Overseas Passenger Terminal Sydney from April 30 to May 4.
Event organiser IMG Fashion is expected to make an official announcement to industry later today.
A report in Ragtrader magazine tomorrow reveals while no major changes are planned for 2012, the following year will likely see a date and venue overhaul.
IMG Global head of production Jarrad Clark said consultations with designers, sponsors and key stakeholders are ongoing.
”The evolution of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia will begin with key changes to the presentation options for the 2012 event at the OPT," he said.
"We’re looking towards 2013 for strategic and long term updates in direct response to conversations being had with the industry.”
