Australian fashion house Manning Cartell has announced it has signed an exclusive two year partnership with US department store, Barneys New York.

The partnership will see the Australian label sold in seven locations across the US including the Madison Avenue and Chelsea flagships in New York, Beverly Hills and The Grove in Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas and Philadelphia.

As part of the deal, the brand will also be sold through the Barneys online store.

Barneys New York fashion director Marina Larroude said the company was excited to welcome the brand into the US market.

"Barneys New York is thrilled to be the exclusive partner to launch Manning Cartell in the US.

"The collection is feminine yet sophisticated with an ease that our customers will respond well to. The brand has a strong following in its native Australia and we cannot wait to introduce the collection stateside."

Manning Cartell co-founder Gabrielle Manning echoed Larroude's comments and said breaking into the US market had been a strong focus for the label over the past 12 months.

“Our partnership with Barneys New York is very much a part of our larger story.

"The US has been a focus for us the past year and we are delighted to have signed this exclusive deal with the United States leading luxury department store.”

Manning Cartell will launch its Spring Summer 17 collection into Barneys New York in August.
