Australian womenswear brand Manning Cartell has opened its sixth Australian boutique in Sydney’s inner east.
The Double Bay store is also set to be a flagship, housing the brand’s full latest collections across eventwear and day-to-night pieces alongside personalised styling experiences in-store.
The store interior includes concrete flooring with carpeting and drapery. Lighting in the store is by Victorian company Volker Haug.
Clothes in the store are hung with FSC-certified wooden hangers, matched with upcycled design elements.
The store also includes a specially designed counter that was first seen in Manning Cartell’s Claremont boutique in Western Australia, alongside shade-cloth changerooms with lanterns and integrated seating.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Double Bay residents have an average weekly income of $1,662, which is double the national average. The median weekly household income is $3,077.
Manning Cartell was founded by sisters Cheryl, Vanessa and Gabrielle Manning in 2005. The brand product pricing is in the premium space, with average prices in dresses sitting within the mid-three-figure range.
