Australian fashion brand Mambo has paired up with Kip&Co to launch a 61-piece collection.

The collaboration brings together Mambo’s 80s and 90s surf art with Kip&Co’s lifestyle ranges. The collection includes pillows, tops and bottoms for kids and adults, surfwear, hats, Santa sacks, towels, dog collars and dog beds and manchester.

Some of Mambo’s historical prints also feature in the range, including the return of the Puppies artwork by Reg Mombassa.

“We’re excited to see this one land and to work alongside Kip & Co on a fresh new range that stays authentically Mambo,” Mambo business manager Matt Macaulay said. “We dug deep into our archives to pull together an epic mix of graphics, prints and yardages spanning years of Mambo history. We’re pumped to share it across the collection.”

Both Kip&Co and Mambo are Australian-born. Mambo was founded in 1984, and is sold through select stockists such as Big W. The brand also sells online.

Kip&Co was founded in 2012 as a lifestyle and apparel brand. It sells online and via a range of stockists, including David Jones among a raft of small retailers nationally, as well as online stockists such as The Iconic, Monster Threads and Ballantynes in New Zealand.

“This collab is a love letter to Australian summers, salty hair, sandy feet, irreverent humour and endless fun,” Kip&Co co-founder and creative director Kate Heppell said.

“Bringing Mambo’s cult heritage together with Kip&Co’s playful spirit just felt natural.”

The Mambo x Kip&Co collection is currently being sold via Kip&Co online and through a selection of its stockists.
