International designer brand Coach will be the anchor tenant at St Collins Lane, Melbourne's new $200 million luxury shopping destination.
Coach has just committed to a new lease for a 400 square metre flagship spanning two levels.
The new Coach store will be a flagship concept store for the New York brand in Australia.
St Collins Lane is situated at 260 Collins Street.
Coach will join another 59 retailers in the 9,000 square metre shopping precinct.
Due for completion in 18 months, St Collins Lane is set to become the city's new retail ‘passeggiata’.
This is following in the tradition of Melbourne’s historic shopping thoroughfares such as The Royal Arcade.
Geographically, St. Collins Lane will complete the north-to-south pedestrian path through the city providing a direct linkage and clear sightlines from Collins Street to Little Collins Street.
The exclusive 'Paris' end of Collins Street has stretched the luxury boundary towards Elizabeth Street.
The strong demand is being driven by growth in existing international retailers on Collins Street, including Tiffany & Co, Louis Vitton, Hugo Boss, Prada, Zegna and Hermes.
