Australian travel brand July is set to open its first retail store in South Australia later this month.

Opening on May 29, the store will be located at Burnside Village in Adelaide’s inner east. The centre has seen a few fashion entrants over the last year, including Uniqlo and a Louis Vuitton pop-up.

July founder Athan Didaskalou called it a great milestone for the luggage and accessories brand.

“Adelaide gets good design, and locals have supported us online from day one,” Didaskalou said. “Now South Australians can actually touch and feel the July difference in person rather than just seeing it on a screen.”

The new 109 square metre retail space has been designed in collaboration with In Addition architects and Trust Projects builders.

Greg Downer, CEO of Cohen Group which manages Burnside Village welcomed the arrival of July into the centre and into South Australia.

“We look forward to the opening and are confident that the distinctive ‘July experience’ will be a valuable addition to our retail offering, further elevating the customer experience at Burnside Village.”

The Burnside Village location will feature July's complete collection of travel products.

July manages 12 retail destinations across Australia, and is also stocked exclusively in Selfridges in London. The brand also has stockists in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and mainland China.
