Australian activewear brand LSKD is set to open its first-ever Adelaide store.
The store will open at Burnside Village on August 2, and will be the latest apparel and accessories brand to take on space in the shopping centre over the last year. This includes Viktoria & Woods, Uniqlo, Ralph Lauren, Simone Pérèle, Universal Store, OPSM, July and Sunglass Hut in the last six months.
LSKD’s new store in the centre covers over 175 square metres, and brings the brand’s total global store count to 24. This includes three stores in New Zealand and one in San Diego, California.
LSKD was founded by Jason Daniel in 2002, initially in the wholesale space. The brand then transitioned into a direct-to-consumer model and has been scaling since.
As well as selling through owned stores and websites, the brand also stocks select goods at national fitness studio Fitstop.
"We’re so pumped to finally be opening our first LSKD store in Adelaide for our community," founder and CEO Daniel said. "This store is more than just a retail space; it’s a place for our community to come together, experience the brand firsthand, and be inspired to chase that 1% better every day.”
The new Burnside Village store will stock LSKD’s full range of sportswear. To mark the opening, the brand will host exclusive events and offers. This includes its ‘tights and shorts’ swap initiative that it undertakes at every store opening, where customers can trade in pre-loved leggings or shorts for a brand-new LSKD pair.
Burnside Village CEO Gregg Downer welcomed LSKD to its array of premium retailers.
"Their arrival marks another significant step in our commitment to bringing the very best in fashion and lifestyle to our community,” Downer said.
There will also be limited-edition Adelaide merchandise available only at the Burnside store while stocks last, alongside special giveaways in collaboration with brand partners for the community in line.
According to LSKD, its recent store openings have consistently drawn crowds of over 700 people.
