Australian-owned sportswear brand LSKD opened its first flagship store at Queensland's Pacific Fair over the weekend, with over 500 customers lining up before the opening.

Spanning nearly 200 square metres, the Pacific Fair location is LSKD's largest store to date.

LSKD chief retail officer Alex Shaughnessy said the new Pacific Fair store has new design elements and customer-centric features.

"We’ve tailored the space for a more localised and seamless experience," Shaughnessy said.

"The new concept fitting room offers a transformative space with a change in lighting and flooring, a comfortable seating area, and thoughtful details to create a warmer and more intimate environment.

"We have installed a large lightbox skylight and new lighting elements to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere for our community."

The store also features a separate leggings and bra wall, as well as a localised community board that provides a space to share local events and news.

Founder and CEO Jason Daniel said LSKD is dedicated to improving the shopping experience for its community.

"At LSKD, we are committed to providing high-quality sportswear that inspires our community to be 1% better every day, and we will continue to explore new ways to enhance the shopping experience,” Daniel said.

LSKD continued its store opening initiative, where customers can swap their used tights or shorts for a new pair - with 600 new pairs being available on the day.

All donated items were either recycled or reused through LSKD’s collaboration with Upparel.

The brand now has 11 stores, including 10 in Australia and one in San Diego, California.
