A local retailer has collaborated with a former Net-A-Porter and Asos head designer to create a new e-commerce platform.

Western Australia fashion retailer Zara Bryson has launched an e-commerce portal with the help of Malika Calder, who has returned to Perth after eight years working in London.

While the platform launched just last month, it has already drawn over 55,000 unique hits and sales from New York, London and Australia with accessories proving the most popular category.

Bryson, who operates a flagship store in Claremont Quarter, said the website will offer a new experience for consumers.

"The Zara Bryson website will change frequently, offering our clients web exclusives and flash sales.

"It might be a best selling dress in an exclusive colour one day, a specially designed necklace or a one-off style shoe the next."

The first world exclusive is the Kobe Husk Gold Glitter Piazza Bootie at $240, designed specifically for the store and available for a limited time only.

The website offers free express shipping worldwide and will soon add to its collection of international and local brands.

E-boutique brands include Aje, Bigeni Basics, Camilla and Antipodium while retail brands such as Karen Walker, Equipment, Owl of Eden will also be offered without crossover of stock.
