RMIT fashion graduates have dominated the first major showcase by L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2012 (LMFF).

Event organisers have revealed the lineup for LMFF's National Graduate Showcase presented by Sportsgirl, an initiative which returns for its fourth year in 2012.

Sportsgirl chief executive Elle Roseby and LMFF CEO Graeme Lewsey announced the 12 finalists, which will showcase their collections at the festival in March, at an intimate industry event in Sydney.

Lewsey and Roseby joined an industry panel in judging final year folios from across the country.

The following graduates were selected from over 70 entries:

  • Ju Young Seo, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, VIC
  • Laura HuiShan Li, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, VIC
  • Natalia Grzybowski, University of Technology Sydney, NSW
  • Rica Hardian, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, VIC
  • Sally Edwards, Queensland University of Technology, QLD

The 2012 National Graduate Showcase presented by Sportsgirl will be held  on March 13, 6.30pm at Peninsula, Central Pier, Docklands.

Concession tickets will also be available for high school students to attend the dress rehearsal at 2.30pm the same day and will be made available through selected schools.

Graduates will also present their capsule collections at an exclusive media presentation on March 9 ahead of their runway debut.
