Leona Edmiston is celebrating 10 years in business with a luncheon at The Strand Arcade in Sydney next week.

The ticketed event will cater for 120 guests and will be held at fine dining restaurant Pendolino on March 8, which also happens to be International Women’s Day.

The exclusive event is to be hosted by Channel Seven’s Laura Sparkes and guests will be treated to a three-course meal with matching wines and a first-time viewing of the Leona Edmiston autumn/winter 2011 collection.

The autumn/winter 2011 collection, which will also feature a limited edition 10th anniversary dress, will be presented to luncheon attendees via a pop-up runway at Pendolino. Edmiston will also attend the lunch to discuss the new season inspiration and trends behind the new range, which she describes as “easy glamour”.

“I love this collection as it embodies all the easy glamour and sophistication that the label exemplifies. With fabulous prints, sexy fringing and hints of the fifties there is no better place to celebrate the start of the year than at the elegant Strand Arcade,” she said.

The luncheon will also host a raffle, with all proceeds being donated to the International Women’s Day cause. Prizes will include a dinner for two at Pendolino, a gift pack from Napoleon Perdis, a Pierre Haddad pack and gifts from other The Strand Arcade retailers.
