Lana Wilkinson's first-ever flat shoe – the Kylie – has sold out overnight, following the launch of the namesake brand's spring-summer collection.
Named after Kylie Brown, wife of AFL star Jonathan Brown, the statement flat proved popular with shoppers who have been comfort dressing for the majority of the year.
Wilkinson said that this sell-out shoe demonstrates women are ready to embrace functional and comfortable fashion again.
"I designed the range for Australian women who want to step out and get dressed again, post lockdown.
"I think the success of the Kylie – my first ever statement flat shoe – is a testament to the fact that women are ready; people still want to feel comfortable but they’re ready for fashion again.
"Statement flats will be huge this season, with Australian consumers themselves really driving the trend.
