Australian-born streetwear brand Ksubi has paired up with Australian style icon Elle Ferguson again for another collaboration launch, coming nearly two years after they first collaborated together.
The new 15-piece capsule, titled ‘Ksubi by Elle: Volume II’, is said to be an evolution of the denim silhouettes from Ksubi x Elle’s first collection, this time through a Parisian lens.
Ferguson trawled through archive pieces that she has collected over the years to generate inspiration. The range includes jeans, long-sleeve tops, denim shorts, oversized tees and zip-up hoodies.
At the centre of the capsule is Frenchie Blue, a new mid-blue denim wash that is finished with the same tobacco stitching featured throughout the first collection.
Every denim bottom is finished with a custom red ribbon threaded through the back belt loops — a signature detail borrowed from Ferguson's own wardrobe.
Beyond apparel, Elle also introduces her first jewellery offering for Ksubi: the Stakked Ear Cuff Set, Stakked Bangle Set and Lucky Charm Bracelet, each made in 18K gold-plated sterling silver.
"Coming back to Ksubi for a second collection was a no-brainer,” Ferguson said. “This process has made me realise what makes this partnership so special — it’s the combination of my aesthetic and Ksubi’s iconic denim that creates those wardrobe-defining pieces you reach for again and again.
“Working alongside Ksubi's design team, I wanted the collection to embody that effortless cool-girl energy. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the proportions and finishes to the construction techniques and the perfect vintage blue wash — the kind you spend years searching for at vintage markets.”
Ferguson also considered the jewellery addition a natural extension of the collection.
“They're such effortless statement pieces that are really built for 'that girl'. For me, this collection was about perfecting the ultimate it-girl wardrobe — timeless staples with attitude, that you'll keep reaching for season after season,” she said.
Ksubi CEO Craig King said the rekindling of Ksubi and Ferguson came from a shared appreciation of all things denim.
“Elle brings a fresh set of eyes to our program, putting a twist on basics and making staples elevated and commercial at the same time.”
Ksubi by Elle: Volume II will be available via Ksubi’s online channel, at Ksubi flagship locations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Sydney and Melbourne, and through select retail partners including Stylerunner, Superette and David Jones from today, July 21.
