Australian-born streetwear brand Ksubi has added a new event collaboration to its 2026 calendar, now pairing up with the world’s largest short-film festival Tropfest.

The Tropfest event will return to Centennial Parklands this Sunday after a six-year hiatus, with Ksubi joining the event to debut a limited-edition homegrown capsule collection.

Spotlight is set to spotlight the next generation of filmmakers and creatives, judged by a panel of Australian film leaders. This is led by Academy Award nominee and Tropfest 2026 Jury President, Margot Robbie.

The seven-piece offering drummed up by Ksubi is said to “fuse cinematic codes” with its distinct aesthetic, covering tees and hoodies.

Ksubi CEO Craig King said Tropfest is one of the great cultural events on the Sydney calendar.

“When [Tropfest founder] John Polson first approached me about their return in 2026, I said ‘the answer is yes, we can work out the details later’.

“Tropfest aligns with Ksubi’s longstanding pillars of art, creativity, youth and community. We are thrilled to be a part of the relaunch this February.”

Polson added that the event and Ksubi share the same rebellious spirit. “Partnering with another iconic Aussie creative force feels like the perfect way to mark our return.”

The Ksubi x Tropfest capsule collection will be available for a limited time via Ksubi online and in-store at Ksubi Bondi from February 16, and at Tropfest merchandise stands during the festival on February 22.

This is the second major event Ksubi has struck a deal with. Last week, the streetwear label confirmed a new partnership deal with the world’s largest hip-hop festival, Rolling Loud, for the event’s return down under after six years.

As part of the deal, Ksubi will become the official outfitter for Rolling Loud Australia.
