Designer denim brand Ksubi has shuttered its only Australian store.

The site, located in Paddington, opened its doors to the public last year.

When contacted by ragtrader.com.au, Ksubi did not comment on the flagship store closure.

Ksubi has not announced plans for a new domestic site and is currently available via General Pants, David Jones and Subtype store.

The brand re-engineered its local distribution model in 2014, after being placed in administration for the second time in three years.

Located at 130 Oxford Street in Paddington, the 250 square metre store sat within the ‘Intersection’ shopping precinct, alongside local and international designer boutiques.

UPDATE: The Intersection owner Theo Onisforou said the lease was bought out by fitness operator Flow Athletics. "They are aggressively expanding due to enormous demand," Onisforou said of the business, which operates on 134 Oxford Street. Ksubi was amicably bought out of the lease, Onisforou confirmed.

UPDATE TWO: Ksubi has confirmed it will relocate to Sydney's CBD. Stay tuned for more.
