Kmart Australia has announced permanent price drops on over 1000 products, including childrenswear. 

With a number of retailers being forced to raise their prices due to increasing supplier costs, Kmart confirmed the price drops would not be temporary. 

Kmart CEO John Gualtieri said the reductions have already rolled out across in-store and retail channels. 

“I believe that everybody, irrespective of where you live or how much money you earn, should have access to good quality products, and that’s what Kmart does best,” Gualtieri said. 

“Now more than ever Australian families are really relying on Kmart, and we want to be there for them as much as we can during these tough times.

“Dropping the price of these 1,000+ products means that our customers can afford the things that they need, but also the things that they deserve, and we are committed to maintaining a relentless focus on keeping costs low for our customers.”
